Parkour Player Dinesh Sunar adds new record in Guinness Book of World Records for 20th time

Kathmandu, Dec 22: National and international Parkour and Gymnastics player Dinesh Sunar has succeeded in writing his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the 20th time.

“The Most Blind Folded Backyard Somersault in 30 Seconds” genre which is under Parker and gymnastics, has added a new record by closing eyes 14 times and blindfolding backwards without raising hands.

There was a criterion of at least 10 times in this genre.

Dinesh sent the record claim to the Guinness Book by presenting a record in front of more than 300 audiences from different countries during the Akron International Dance Festival program in Akron City, Ohio State, America on December 7, 2024.

The headquarters of the Guinness Book of World Records have given the recognition of the record today (20 December 2025). Along with this, Dinesh has been able to write his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the 20th time, it is said.

The festival program had a dance performance that reflected the culture and identity of Mexico, Germany, India, Africa, Poland, Ireland, Bhutan, Congo, Italy, Nepal, Burma, Thailand, and America.

Upon this latest achievement, Sunar said “It’s been 12 since I started trying this record continued and succeeded today”.

He wants to be a shining example by inspiring new generations in the Parker game and raising the name of the country to the world through sports.
