CPN (Unified Socialist) assigns CC members with responsibility
Kathmandu, Dec 21: The CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the party’s central committee members were given the responsibility to systematically run the party organizations and the sister wings.
Issuing a press statement today, Chairman Nepal said that the politburo members of the party in the portfolio division have been made co-in-charge of the provinces to effectively run the organizations of peasants, labourers, women, youth, students, professionals and intellectuals, industrialists, and business persons.
Likewise, the in-charges of some wings will be assigned with the consultation of the politburo member, who has led the province committee as the in-charge. Furthermore, the district in charge could assign the district co-in-charges for the provincial constituencies if the district having a single federal constituency has more than one co-in-charge.
The responsibility of the election constituency given to the central committee member could be changed by holding talks with the concerned leaders from the in-charge. The CPN (US) has also assigned some members of the central commissions to some committees based on specific needs. —RSS
