Foreign Minister Rana returning home today
Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba is returning home today on completion of an official visit to China, at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. She is scheduled to return from Chengdu this morning.
On Friday, Foreign Minister Rana held a meeting with Foreign Minister Wang in Chengdu and discussed various aspects of Nepal-China relations, matters of mutual interest and concern, and the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit.
It may be noted that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from December 2 to 5, at the cordial invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
Foreign Minister Rana will also be accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit to China that begins this Monday, according to her press advisor Yekraj Pathak. Dr Rana had left for China on Thursday.
