Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba emphasizes promotion of Nepali tourism in China to strengthen bilateral ties.
Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has instructed to explore possibilities to promote Nepali tourism and culture in China.
While, inspecting the Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu, China today Minister Rana, said that Nepali products and tourism should be promoted in China to consolidate people-to-people connections between the two countries.
On the occasion, Minister Rana was welcomed by Consul General Suresh Raut.
According to the Foreign Minister’s Secretariat, Minister Dr Rana was briefed by Consul General Raut about the activities of the Consulate General.
On the occasion, Minister Rana further reminded the officials to be effortful to carry out the results in the backdrop of the “Nepal Visit year 2025” jointly announced by both governments on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of formal bilateral relations next year.
Furthermore, Minister Rana instructed to identify ways to promote Nepali products like tea, and coffee, as well as medicinal and aromatic herbs in the Chinese market and to identify possible Nepali eateries in Chengdu.
Foreign Minister Dr Rana is in China to make final arrangements for Prime Minister KP Oli’s upcoming visit.
