U.S. Embassy Youth Council Nepal invites applications for 2025

November 25, Kathmandu: The U.S. Embassy Youth Council Nepal (USYC) has officially announced the opening of applications for its 2025 intake. According to a post on USYC Nepal’s Facebook page, the council is inviting Nepali youths aged between 20 to 30 years to apply. This includes students, professionals, experts, opinion leaders, activists, and passionate individuals eager to make a difference.

The USYC 2025 program is designed to foster an inclusive community, drive innovation, and provide a transformative experience for its members. “Applicants are expected to commit to active engagement in the Council for a one-year duration,” the post states. It further explains that the Council is designed to supplement professional, academic, and personal commitments of its members, while still demanding a degree of active engagement.

The USYC Nepal has mentioned that it strongly encourages applications from the LGBTQI+ community, marginalized communities, and religious and ethnic minority communities to promote diversity and inclusivity.
