Players participating in the World Karate Championship bade farewell
Kathmandu: Bagmati Province’s Youth and Sports Minister Min Krishna Maharjan has bade farewell to the players participating in the World Kyokushin Karate Full Contact Championship to be held in Japan.
At a greeting exchange and player farewell program organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, Minister Maharjan expressed his commitment that Bagmati Province will provide cash prizes along with high honours to the players who return to Nepal with medals.
Gorkhapatra Sansthan’s advisory editor Upesh Maharjan and National Sports Council ex-member Rajendra Shrestha said that the players must participate in the competition with high morale so that they return to Nepal with medals.
Under the leadership of World Kyokushin Kai Karate Federation Vice President Shihan Ashok Kumar Shrestha, official Indra Nepal, players Manju BK and Chhabilal Khadka are leaving for Japan in a week.
The competition will be held in Japan on November 10.
