President Poudel offers worship in Dakshinkali Temple
Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel, accompanied by his wife, Sabita Paudel, visited the Dakshinkali temple to mark the auspicious occasion of Badadashain on Saturday morning.

During their visit, they worshipped Goddesses Dakshinkali and received tika and prasad from the priest of the temple.
The temple situated in Dakshinkali Municipality, south of Kathmandu, is recognized as one of the valley’s major Shaktipeeths, drawing numerous devotees during the festive season.
During the visit, Mayor of Dakshinkali Municipality, Mohan Basnet, provided an update on the damage inflicted by recent floods in the area.
Mayor Basnet appealed for urgent relief for the victims and support for the reconstruction of the temple areas.
Basnet also emphasized the need for swift repairs to the roads connecting Makwanpur and Kathmandu, along with enhanced road safety measures.
In response, President Paudel expressed his heartfelt sympathy for the losses endured by the community due to the floods.

The President assured that he would bring the concerns of the temple area and the urgent need for road construction and victim relief to the attention of the government.
Upon his arrival at the temple, President Paudel was warmly welcomed by local representatives, officials from the Dakshinkali Area Management Committee, and members of the community.
