Bagmati Province govt releases 67-point common minimum programme
Makwanpur: The coalition government formed by the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) in Bagmati Province has announced the common minimum programme.
Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama announced the common minimum programme of the government in the Province Assembly secretariat, which he argued, emphasized economic prosperity and infrastructure development. He said that the government was concentrated on the development of tourism and the promotion of good governance.
Similarly, the UML parliamentary party leader in Bagmati Province, Jagannath Thapaliya, said that priority was given to the projects of national pride and development infrastructure. The allocation of the budget was fair as it included the sentiments of various parties in the parliament.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s parliamentary party leader in Bagmati Province, Uddhav Thapa, emphasized that the provincial government should be accountable to the people.
The establishment of provincial police and provincial investigation bureaus in coordination with the federal government and full compliance with the constitutional system based on the principles of inter-relationship were stressed in the programme.
Members of the Council of Ministers in the province, Provincial Assembly members and media persons were present in the programme.
