PM introduces Nepal’s first hydrogen car

 

Dhulikhel, August 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has introduced ‘hydrogen car’ and refuelling system at Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel, Kavre today.

The introduction of the hydrogen car and refuelling system took place before the university’s 29th convocation ceremony.

The hydrogen car, made by the South Korean company Hyundai, was purchased for $33,000 US dollars with the support of the Nepal Oil Corporation and brought to Nepal.

In a brief statement, Prime Minister Oli mentioned that the use of hydrogen would help reduce carbon emissions and contribute to lowering pollution.
