‘Nepali art, culture warrant preservation’
Lekhnath (Kaski): Chief of Gandaki Province, Dilliraj Bhatta, said the time has come to attract youths towards the preservation of Nepali art and culture.
Inaugurating the national competition on Shree Krishna Bhajan at Batulechaur of Pokhara-16, Province Chief Bhatta reminded that Batulechaur is a literary place where Janakavi Dharma Raj Thapa and sarangi maestro Jhalak Man Gandarva were born. This place bears immense significance in terms of the literary development of the country, he added.

According to him, adequate attention is required to preserve Nepal’s art and culture given its richness in diverse cultures. Even the young generation can learn a lot from Bhajan.
