Vice President Yadav extends greetings on Janai Purnima

August 19, Kathmandu: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav on Monday extended happiness, peace, prosperity, good health and progress to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of the Janai Purnima

The Vice President said that the main purpose of this festival was to encourage mutual brotherhood, affection, harmony, ownership and cooperation despite the festival being named differently in different geographies, regions and communities.

The Madhesi community in the Tarai-Madhes observes this festival as the Rakhi Tyohar, the Vice President has stated in his message.
