Surpaschim Province Chief Minister Sodari resigns
Dhangadhi: Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, has resigned from his position.

Chief Minister Sodari announced his resignation during a provincial assembly meeting today citing the change in the power equation in the central political landscape as a contributing factor to his decision.
He was expected to seek a vote of confidence today but resigned after realizing he lacked the necessary support to pass the motion.
He acknowledged that despite his efforts to meet public expectations during his brief three-month tenure, he was unable to secure the necessary trust to continue in office.
Sodari’s resignation paves the way for the formation of a new government in the province.
