Lawmaker Shrestha nominated to Legislation Management Committee

Kathmandu: National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal has nominated lawmaker Narayan Kaji Shrestha to the Legislation Management Committee following Rule 149 of the National Assembly Regulations.

In a meeting of the National Assembly today, the upper house members consented to lawmaker Shrestha’s nomination. Chairman Dahal drew the attention of the government ministers concerned to be physically present in the Assembly meeting and respond to the questions raised by the lawmakers during the ‘urgent time’, the ‘zero hour’, the ‘special hour’ and the ‘province concerns hour’, as per the pre-determined schedule.

He also directed the Parliament Secretariat to once again dispatch to the related ministries via letters the schedule determined before this for responding to lawmakers’ questions.
