CTEVT students to be hired in Energy Ministry’s projects

July 5, Kathmandu: In a bid to promote the concept of ‘learning by earning’, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for skill enhancement and apprenticeship of the CTEVT students.

The MoU is expected to ensure skills enhancement of the students of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) through workplace learning. As per the MoU, the CTEVT students will be hired in the projects under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in the apprenticeship model.

The MoU was signed on Thursday by Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sumana Shrestha.
