Nepali Congress meeting ends to form new government
The Nepali Congress has said that they have agreed to form a government of national consensus under the leadership of CPN-UML for political stability and necessary amendments to the constitution.
After reaching an agreement with the CPN-UML, the meeting of the Congress officials held this morning at the residence of President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkanth decided to form a national government with major parties to solve the necessary amendments to the constitution, to solve the problems seen in the economy and to protect democracy. Prakasharan Mahat informed.
Spokesman Dr. Mahat said UML president KP Sharma Oli and President Sher Bahadur Deuba will lead the government in turn and other parties will also be included.
Spokesperson Dr. Mahat said that the news published in the media yesterday that party chairman and UML president President Ramchdra Paudel’s residence Shital has been evacuated is not true.
Spokesman Dr. Mahat also said that the party performance committee will hold a meeting and approve the agreement.
