6th Indo-Nepal Friendship Sotokan Karate Championship from June 21

Kavreplanchowk, June 18: The sixth Indo-Nepal Friendship Sotokan Karate Championship is going to be organised at Dhulikhel of Kavreplanchowk from June 21.

Nepal Sotokan Karate Association is organising the two-day championship at the covered hall of Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, where 600 athletes of Nepal and India would compete.

At a news conference organised at Banepa on Monday, it was shared that 250 atheletes from 25 provinces of India and 350 from 49 districts of Nepal are competing in the championship.

Chief Coach of the Association, Hem Kumar Shrestha, said that the championship is organised with an objective of preparing for big sporting events like Asian Games and Olympic as well as establishing brotherly relations between the two countries through sports.
