Dr Devkota appointed Gandaki Policy and Planning Commission vice-chair

Gandaki: Dr Krishna Chandra Devkota has been appointed the vice-chairperson of the Gandaki Province Policy and Planning Commission.

Gandaki province chief minister Surendra Raj Pandey appointed Devkota, a resident of Palungtar municipality-3, Gorkha, to the post on Thursday.

Earlier too, he was appointed the vice-chair of the commission.

Devkota who did his PhD in Geology at Kyungpook National University of South Korea, is associated with the ‘Global Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (GIIS)’.

Chief Minister Pandey had administered an oath of office and secrecy to Dr Devkota on Thursday itself.
