Nepal has made achievements in infrastructure development of late: PM Dahal


May 13, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday announced plans for a special program aimed at boosting production and job creation through the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.

Speaking during the inauguration of the ‘Signature Bridge’ project over the Narayani River in Chitwan, the PM highlighted the government’s focus on integrated projects to enhance infrastructure, rural economy, productivity, and employment.

Emphasizing the importance of quality and sustainable development alongside the expansion of road networks, he underscored the need for improved transportation services and infrastructure to support economic growth.

The Prime Minister urged for a shift towards positive thinking and energy, rejecting negative comparisons and emphasizing Nepal’s progress in various sectors, including physical infrastructure, education, health, and social security of late.

He noted the significant advancements in road infrastructure, including the construction of numerous bridges and tunnels, contributing to the country’s development goals.
