Coalition working group discusses ministries and policies in Baluwatar meeting
Kathmandu: The working group of the newly formed ruling coalition is actively engaged in discussions at Baluwatar.
Focused on critical matters, the meeting addresses the allocation of ministries among coalition parties, defining minimum common policies and programs, and fostering collaboration with other political entities.
Comprising key figures such as CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, CPN-Maoist Center leader Barshaman Pun, Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Swarnim Wagle, and Janata Samajbadi Party leader Rajendra Shrestha, the working group aims to present recommendations during the top leaders’ meeting scheduled for 3 PM today.
In addition to current coalition members, efforts are underway to include CPN-United Socialist, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, Janamat Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party in the government. Coalition leaders anticipate a few more days before finalizing the ministry distribution.
