RSS honours Radio Nepal as best service recipient

Kathmandu: The National News Agency (RSS) has honoured Radio Nepal.

On the occasion of its 63rd anniversary, RSS honoured Radio Nepal as the best service recipient with a certificate of appreciation.

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma handed over the certificate of appreciation to Executive Director of Radio Nepal Buddhi Bahadur KC at the anniversary function held at the central office of RSS at Bhadrakali in Kathmandu.

Similarly, Minister Sharma honoured Ratopati online news portal and Birgunj-based Prateek Daily among the subscribers of RSS along with Radio Nepal.

RSS, which was established in the year 2018 as a support organization that provides news to the media of the country and abroad, has entered 63 years today.

On the occasion of the anniversary, RSS also honored the best journalists and employees with awards and the best service recipients.

Secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Ramakrishna Subedi, high-ranking officials of the Ministry, members of the Board of Directors of RSS and other distinguished personalities participated in the ceremony.
