Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Festival unites youth

August 27, Kathmandu: The Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Festival, organized by the Centre for Asian Studies and Mahakali Dance Council, has showcased bonds between the two countries through art and culture.

Over 700 students from 30 schools engaged in essay writing, painting, and cultural dances during the three-day event held from August 23rd to 26th.

During the closing ceremony on Saturday, the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan, Umair Ali, and the Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, Nisha Sharma Pokharel, awarded the prize winners.

The festival celebrated Pakistan-Nepal friendship and also nurtured artistic talents and cross-cultural understanding.
