Three of a single-family dead in Okhaldhunga landslide

Okhaldhunga: Three family members died after a landslide buried their house following heavy rainfall in the Okhaldhunga district last night.

Rana Bahadur Gurung, 36, his 29-year-old spouse Shiva Maya and 18-month-old daughter Kritika died after the house collapsed in the landslide at Bilandu village in Champadevi Rural Municipality-8, Police Inspector Devendra Das confirmed.

It is said that 10-year-old Dinesh Gurung, son of Rana Bahadur, is missing the landslide.

The landslide also collapsed the houses of local Bal Bahadur Gurung and Jar Sigh Gurung.
