One person killed in scooter accident in Pokhara

March 17, Kathmandu: A scooter rider has died in a road accident in Pokhara on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Dikshya Karki, 24, of Damak in Jhapa district.

The accident took place when a bus hit the scooter that Karki was riding at Chipledhunga of Pokhara Metropolitan City-4.

Karki died in course of treatment at Western Regional Hospital, said Police Inspector at Ward Police Office, Baidam, Hari Prasad Poudel. Police have arrested the bus driver Sagar Chhetri.
