Balkot meeting agrees to make new government under Maoist Chair Dahal’s leadership

Kathmandu: Balkot meeting has decided to make CPN-Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda the Prime Minister of the country.

The meeting held at Balkot among CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, CPN-Maoist Chair Prachanda, Rashtriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane, Janamat Party Chair CK Raut and Janata Samajwadi Party leader Ashok Rai agreed to make a new government under the leadership of leader Prachanda.

CPN-UML leader said leader Sankar Pokharl said leader Prachanda has the support of 166 parliamentarians to make him the country’s Prime Minister.

Maoist Chair Prachanda is now at Sital Niwas to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari to claim the prime ministerial post as the deadline given by the President to form a new government was set to end at 5:00 PM today.
