Data collection for national ID cards ongoing in Morang

Biratnagar: The details about 290 thousand people have been collected for purpose of national identity cards in the Morang district. The data collection was begun at 17 local levels including the metropolitan city in mid-October this year.

Assistant Chief District Officer Sharad Kumar Pokhrel informed that the data collection was over at the local levels except in Belbari, Sundarharaicha, Budhiganga and Biratnagar metropolitan cities.

At an interaction on data collection for national identity cards, Chief District Officer Kashiraj Dahal urged everyone to participate in the campaign of making identity cards.

He informed that the Chief District Administration was collecting data on nearly 700 people every day.
