Nepali Congress leading FPTP tally and UML PR tally in HoR elections

November 29, Kathmandu: The vote count results of 158 federal constituencies under the November 20 elections have been declared so far.

As per the latest updates, Nepali Congress has won 53 seats in the House of Representatives while the CPN UML has won 42 Seats.

The CPN-Maoist Center has won the election in 17 federal constituencies. The CPN Unified Socialist has secured victory in 10 federal constituencies. Rashtriya Prajatantra Party and Rashtriya Swatantra Party both have won 7 HoR seats each.  

Province

In Province Assembly, Nepali Congress has won 108 seats while the CPN – UML has secured victories in 94 provincial constituencies.

Likewise, the CPN Maoist Center has secured victories in 54 seats while the CPN Unified Socialist has won 15 seats in provincial constituencies.

Proportional Representation

More than 9.5 million votes have been counted so far under the proportional representation system in the House of Representatives.

The CPN UML is leading in the ongoing vote count of the proportional representation system.

According to the Election Commission, the UML has garnered around 2 million 557 thousand votes as per the latest update.

Nepali Congress is trailing with 2 million 404 thousand votes.  

The CPN (Maoist Centre) is in third place and the Rashtriya Swatantra Party is in fourth place in the vote tally.
