The delegation includes the Ministry\u2019s secretary, Rajendra Kumar Paudel, and another official. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a specialised agency of the United Nations for information and communication technologies, plays a vital role in determining global telecommunication standards, coordinating radio frequencies and satellite orbits internationally and promoting digital connectivity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Plenipotentiary Conference, held every four years, is the IPU&#8217;s highest policy-making body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It sets the organization&#8217;s future course of action and strategic priorities, and elects its leadership. Nepal is scheduled to participate in the elections for the ITU&#8217;s senior management team, members of the Council and members of the Radio Regulations Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RSS<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The event is being held on November 7-13.
