The mountainous settlement of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-4 was supplied the food grains with the initiative of the local government and stakeholders concerned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the devastative flood decimated Syafru bazaar, a trade hub for the locals, and even the roads and bridges on August 26, there was no alternative left than the transportation by helicopter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Dindhup Tamang, chair of ward no 4 in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality, 10 tonnes of food grains was supplied to the Langtang people with the help of World Food Programme (WFP). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was distributed to all households in a proportionate manner, he added. The village is distant from the district headquarters- two day&#8217;s walk.
