{"id":437768,"date":"2026-10-14T07:44:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T01:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=437768"},"modified":"2026-10-14T07:44:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T01:59:10","slug":"no-shortage-of-petroleum-products-in-jhapa-says-noc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/10\/14\/437768.html","title":{"rendered":"No Shortage of Petroleum Products in Jhapa, says NOC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Bhadrapur (Jhapa), Oct 14: <\/strong>The Jhapa Administration has emphasized the regular monitoring of supply and distribution systems to prevent any artificial shortage of cooking gas and petroleum products during the festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief District Officer Shravan Kumar Pokharel has urged the concerned agencies to ensure an efficient and organized supply system, noting that the demand for consumer goods is likely to rise during the festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While reviewing the supply status of petroleum products, including cooking gas, in the district, he stressed the need for necessary coordination to ensure fuel is readily available to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Umesh Kumar Pokharel, Chief of the Nepal Oil Corporation (Charali), there is no shortage of petroleum products in the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, Proprietor of Parajuli Gas Industry, Jit Bahadur Karki, stated that while the daily demand for cooking gas in Jhapa is 5,500 cylinders, 7,600 cylinders are currently being supplied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking gas consumption in the market over the past two months has been approximately 40 percent higher than normal consumption levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from security agencies, the Oil Corporation, the Petroleum Dealers&#8217; Association, and the Cooking Gas Sellers&#8217; Association participated in a discussion held at the District Administration Office on Tuesday regarding the assurance of regular supplies during the festive season. <strong>RSS<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bhadrapur (Jhapa), Oct 14: The Jhapa Administration has emphasized the regular monitoring of supply and distribution systems to prevent any artificial shortage of cooking gas and petroleum products during the festive season.
