{"id":437702,"date":"2026-10-13T07:43:55","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T01:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=437702"},"modified":"2026-10-13T07:43:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T01:58:56","slug":"parliamentary-hearings-completed-for-four-ambassador-nominees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/10\/13\/437702.html","title":{"rendered":"Parliamentary Hearings Completed for Four Ambassador Nominees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kathmandu, October 12:<\/strong> The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament has completed hearings for four individuals nominated as ambassadors to India, China, the United States and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A committee meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Bodh Narayan Shrestha concluded the hearings of Dr Nischal Nath Pandey, nominated for India; Kalyan Raj Sharma, nominated for China; Charin Jung Thapa, nominated for the United States; and Gaurav Shamsher JBR, nominated for the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the hearings, the nominees presented their respective action plans and responded to questions raised by lawmakers. They highlighted their priorities for strengthening Nepal\u2019s diplomatic relations, expanding bilateral cooperation, making bilateral mechanisms more effective, and promoting trade and connectivity with the respective countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the hearings, the committee also reviewed complaints lodged against the nominees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee has scheduled hearings for five other ambassadorial nominees on Tuesday.
