It has established the road connection from Nuwakot to Rasuwa, thereby easing transportation activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The devastating flood occurred in Bhotekoshi-Trishuli rivers washed away two motorable bridges- at Bidur Municipality-10 and Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major General Anup Jung Thapa of the Nepali Army informed RSS that with the operation of the bailey bridge, people&#8217;s movement has been eased in Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transportation of goods, including relief items to the flood-affected areas will be speeded up with it. It took five days for a Nepali Army squad to fix the bridge over the Phalakhu stream at Betrawati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> &#8220;After the floods swept away the access road, there was no route to reach Betrawati,&#8221; Major General Thapa said. The NA cleared the tough rocky terrain of 300-metre Agingtar-Betrawati stretch in close coordination with the Department of Roads so that access road could be restored and a bailey bridge fixed over the Phalakhu stream, he added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even a technical report has been handed over to Krishna Nath Ojha, chief of the Road Project Office for Nuwakot and Rasuwa, mentioning the construction details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Nepali Army spokesperson Brigadier General Rajaram Basnet, the newly installed bridge has the bearing capacity of 40 tons.
