He informed that India has adopted a ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy while explaining Nepal comes first in its priorities.

Prof Mohapatra said, ‘India should give Nepal the top priority through its Neighbourhood First policy, and this policy should be based on respect, dialogue, peace, and prosperity.’ CINAS Chairperson Dr Mrigendra Bahadur Karki shed light on a gamut of various aspects around Nepal–India relations.

He pointed out that the foreign policy and wise guidance of Nepal’s Shah Kings, from Ram Shah to Prithvi Narayan Shah, have remained spectacular in shaping Nepal–India relations. Professor Anand Aditya noted that Nepal–India relations go beyond politics and are based on economic, cultural, people-to-people, and harmonious ties.

RSS

Kathmandu: Indian Professor Anil Kumar Mohapatra has emphasized on collaborative coordination between Nepal and India for the mitigation and prevention of climate change induced impacts.
