Kathmandu, Oct 2:<\/strong> Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) set to take place at Singhadurbar at 11:00 am includes the line ministers tabling responses to oral and written queries that could not be presented in the Session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is scheduled to present the ‘Eighth Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission, 2083’ in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Gautam will also propose sending the ‘Bill to Revive Provisions of Certain Nepal Acts, 2083’ and the ‘National Defense University Bill, 2083’ to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal will propose that the ‘Waste Management Bill, 2083’ be sent to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister for Women, Children, Gender, Sexual Minorities, and Social Security Sita Badi will propose that the ‘Bill to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Women, Children, Gender, Sexual Minorities, and Social Security, 2083’ be sent to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meeting, Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta is scheduled to present the proposal to send the ‘Mother’s Milk Substitutes (Control of Sale and Distribution) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’, ‘Right to Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’, ‘Security of Health Professionals and Health Institutions (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083’, and ‘Ram Raja Prasad Singh Academy of Health Sciences Bill, 2083’ to the relevant committees for clause-wise discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, in today\u2019s meeting, the agenda is to pass the ‘Remuneration, Condition of Service, and Facilities of Office-Bearers of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment) Bill, 2083’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meeting, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal will submit for House approval the notices of absence received from lawmakers who have missed 10 or more sessions, as per the House of Representatives Rules, 2083.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the Speaker will read out letters received from the President. The National Assembly meeting will be held at 1:15 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s meeting will also address oral and written queries that could not be presented in the House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agenda includes the relevant ministers presenting answers to oral and written questions that could not be addressed in the Session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A proposal will be presented regarding the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 ‘, which was returned from the HoR with amendments, to approve the amendments made by the House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
