They were airlifted from Ghatang Agro area in Nisyang Rural Municipality-1, Manang to Sahajee, Besisahar Municipality-7, Lamjung via a Dynasty helicopter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tourists were on trek along the Annapurna Circuit. Due to torrential rain from September 24-27, landslides occurred in various places, leaving them stranded in the Ghatang Agro area. They were rescued with the use of helicopter, said Jitendra Bahadur Basnet, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Lamjung. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After being brought to Lamjung, they headed towards Pokhara using vehicles numbered G1J 3740 and Ba.Pra.01\u2013007 Kha 1680. Incessant rainfall had affected the Annapurna trekking route and the Besisahar\u2013Chame road, causing problems for tourists, the police informed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since condition of the roads and trekking paths was not easy, they were rescued by helicopter and brought to Lamjung. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A four-member team led by constable Gunja Bahadur Baram from the District Police Office was also mobilized in the site for rescue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RSS<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lamjung: A total of 16 Indonesian tourists, stranded in Manang, were brought to Lamjung by helicopter.
