Kaski, Sept 30:<\/strong> Pokhara is set to host a Dashain Tourism and Cultural Festival<\/strong> on October 25, aiming to offer domestic and international visitors an opportunity to experience Nepal\u2019s traditional culture and festivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The festival, themed \u201cTika, Jamara and Kite Flying \u2013 Celebrating Dashain with Tourists in Pokhara,\u201d will be held at Barahi Ghat in Lakeside on the occasion of Kojagrat Purnima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Organised by the Women Tourism Entrepreneurs Forum (WOTEF), the event seeks to promote Dashain not only as a family festival but also as a cultural experience for tourists visiting Pokhara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to event coordinator Uma Bhandari, tourists will be welcomed with tika and jamara, while a kite-flying competition will also be organised as part of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event will feature traditional cultural performances representing different ethnic communities.
