Locals report that these disruptions have left passengers and vehicles stranded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, residents of rural areas are facing difficulties in transporting daily essentials and agricultural produce, as well as in taking the sick to hospitals for treatment. Traffic on the Siddhartha Highway has been obstructed following a landslide at Dhairaini, Chidipani (Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-1), along the Bartung-Ramdi section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local resident Shishir Bhattarai reported that transportation has been disrupted since early this morning due to the landslide. Heavy vehicles traveling from Syangja and Pokhara towards Butwal, and from Butwal towards Pokhara remain stranded on the road. However, motorcycles and smaller vehicles are being allowed to proceed to their destinations with caution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flooding in the Kaligandaki River, caused by continuous rainfall, has damaged both concrete and suspension bridges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Road Division, Palpa, the motorable bridge at Keladi in Rampur Municipality-3 has been affected. Another bridge located on the road section connecting Rampur and Mityal to Arunkhola in East Nawalparasi has also sustained damage. Movement in the area has been halted due to the damage to these bridges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, local governments and relevant authorities have initiated efforts to restore road access while simultaneously assessing the damage caused by floods and landslides.
