{"id":436859,"date":"2026-09-28T17:07:56","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=436859"},"modified":"2026-09-28T17:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:23:07","slug":"russias-ambassador-to-nepal-alexi-calls-on-minister-pokharel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/09\/28\/436859.html","title":{"rendered":"Russia&#8217;s ambassador to Nepal, Alexi, calls on Minister Pokharel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu: <\/strong>Russia&#8217;s ambassador to Nepal, Alexi Vladimirovich Surovtsev, today paid a courtesy call on Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meeting held at the Singha Durbar-based Ministry of Education and Sports, the two exchanged views on Nepal-Russia bilateral relations and mutual interests, according to the Minister&#8217;s Secretariat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions were also held on the enhancement of cooperation in education, sports, human resources development and other areas of mutual concern, it is said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion, Minister Pokharel who also serves as the government&#8217;s Spokesperson thanked the Government of Russia for its support and contribution to human resource development in Nepal. He utilized the time to call for further expanding Nepal-Russia collaboration in the areas of education and sports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambassador said that Russia is interested in investing in Nepal&#8217;s education and sports sectors.
