Balglung: <\/strong>Six people have died and three others are missing after landslides in Baglung and Palpa today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Baglung, four members of the same family were buried when a landslide buried their house in Nisikhola Rural Municipality-3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to District Police Chief Phanindra Prasain, Shyam Kumari BK and her three sons, Manoj, Mukesh and Nisan, were buried in the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police have so far recovered three bodies, while efforts are underway to recover the remaining body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, two people died and three others went missing in separate landslides in Palpa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The District Police Office confirmed the deaths of 75-year-old Sher Bahadur Chidi of Rupse Rajauli in Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-2 and 59-year-old Krishna Kumari Saru of Thimure Dhustung in Ribdikot Rural Municipality-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their bodies have been recovered and taken to Palpa District Hospital for post-mortem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another incident, a landslide at Kaseni Bhaisekatta in Mathagadhi Rural Municipality-3 buried the house of Lil Bahadur Gharti Magar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two members of Gharti Magar\u2019s family and his neighbour\u2019s daughter are missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhimlal Bhattarai said police have launched a search for the missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
