Responding to queries raised by lawmakers during the theoretical discussion, Minister Gautam argued free legal aid would reach every household, covering both legal and non-governmental sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also stated those seeking free legal aid would need to provide proof that they are unable to access legal remedies. The bill includes provisions for mobile camps for free legal aid, in coordination with the municipality&#8217;s judicial committee. It also makes arrangements for free legal aid and psychosocial counseling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Gautam informed that the bill also allows for keeping legal experts when necessary. Facilities for sign language will also be provided to those requiring it to access free legal aid. The Legal Aid Council, the Executive Committee, and the provinces are also allowed to make such arrangements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a provision to maintain records of lawyers providing free legal aid.
