In response to the queries raised by members of the National Assembly on Thursday, Minister Sah said a &#8217;cause and effect diagram&#8217; was prepared to identity root causes of cooking gas shortage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dependency on import, international price, storage and refilling, unequal distribution, delay in collection of empty cylinders, black marketing and lack of inter-agency coordination were the issues identified behind the present problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Government is very serious towards the problem facing the general public due to shortage of LP gas. So, it is working untiringly to resolve this pressing problem. Causes of the problem is technically analysed,&#8221; he said, adding that even the route for transporting the essential was critical- Krishnabhir section of Prithvi Highway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Minister, coordination with Road and Transport Department and Customs Department was established accordingly. In the month of Bhadra alone, over 856 hundreds of LP gas cylinders had entered the Kathmandu Valley, which is up by 25 percent than the previous year record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no shortage of petrol, diesel and air fuel at present, he added.
