Nepal defeated Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Group \u2018B\u2019, Nepal beat Thailand 46\u201343 in their first match held today at Tokai Citizen Gymnasium in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nepal had a weak performance in the first half and was trailing 15\u201324. Later, Nepal made a comeback in the second half, scoring 31 points while Thailand was limited to 19 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei are also in Group \u2018B\u2019 along with Nepal and Thailand. Women&#8217;s team coach Parbati Rai shared that Nepal will play against Chinese Taipei in their second group stage match set for Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top two teams from the four-team Group \u2018B\u2019 will advance to the semi-finals.
