Lippwe, signed a joint statement to this effect, according to the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the UN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"220\" src=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/nepal-micro.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-436018\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/nepal-micro.jpg 390w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/nepal-micro-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/nepal-micro-340x191.jpg 340w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion, the two representatives exchanged views on cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including at national and international forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micronesia is an island nation in the western Pacific Ocean, comprising more than 600 islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gained independence on November 3, 1986, and joined the United Nations on September 17, 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micronesia covers an area of 701 square kilometres and has an estimated population of around 100,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Nepal and Micronesia are members of the Group of 77, or G77.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu: Nepal and the Federated States of Micronesia have established diplomatic relations.
