{"id":435871,"date":"2026-09-13T05:49:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-13T00:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=435871"},"modified":"2026-09-13T05:49:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T00:04:20","slug":"233k-lpg-cylinders-sold-in-kathmandu-in-five-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/09\/13\/435871.html","title":{"rendered":"233k LPG cylinders sold in Kathmandu in five days"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Kathmandu: A total of 233,662 cooking gas cylinders have been sold in the Kathmandu Valley over the past five days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the obstruction of the Prithvi Highway due to a landslide at the Krishnabhir section, cylinders were refilled at industries in the Tarai region and transported to Kathmandu via alternative routes for sale, says the Nepal Oil Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of LPG cylinders brought to Kathmandu and sold was 48,109 on Monday, 46,218 on Tuesday, 53,469 on Wednesday, 45,230 on Thursday, and 40,636 on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the main highway was blocked, the NOC arranged refilling at plants in Bara, Parsa, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Dhanusha, and Mahottari, and then transported to Kathmandu via alternative routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NOC has stated that gas cylinders will continue to be brought to Kathmandu and sold via alternative routes until the Prithvi Highway resumes regular operation. <strong>RSS<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu: A total of 233,662 cooking gas cylinders have been sold in the Kathmandu Valley over the past five days.
