Janakpurdham, Sept 11: Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, has shared that the government has been making preparation to introduce new curriculum from coming academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At a programme organised at Janakpurdham today, Minister Pokharel underlined that homework to revise the curriculum is underway as per the time and need of the students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mentioning that suggestions from stakeholders across the country are being collected by forming a taskforce as there is necessary to make broad revision in existing curriculum, he stated that the new curriculum would be implemented from coming academic session revising the curriculum based on the received suggestions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The matter how to utilize the artificial intelligence should be incorporated in the curriculum at a time when AI is being used widespread,” he argued, adding the new curriculum should incorporate the matter to impart practical and technical education to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stating that the government has been making preparation to bring school education bill soon, he expressed the belief that problems related to school education would be resolved once the bill is introduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly, Minister for Education and Culture of Madhes Province government, Manoj Kumar Singh, opined that the province government was ready to move ahead in coordination and collaboration with federal government for the improvement of Nepal’s education system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stressed that Madhes province government has put necessary policy and programme in priority to ensure quality education from school-level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, Executive Director of Curriculum Development Centre, Mahendra Parajuli, viewed that the taskforce has been carrying out activities to revise the curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
