{"id":435372,"date":"2026-09-04T14:32:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T08:47:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=435372"},"modified":"2026-09-04T14:32:56","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T08:47:56","slug":"pm-shah-and-australian-counterpart-hold-telephone-conversation-on-response-to-devastating-floods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/09\/04\/435372.html","title":{"rendered":"PM Shah and Australian counterpart hold telephone conversation on response to devastating floods"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu:<\/strong> Prime Minister Balendra Shah and his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese, held a telephone conversation this morning, discussing Nepal\u2019s ongoing disaster situation and Australia\u2019s support for relief and rescue efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Deepa Dahal, Press and Research Expert to the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Shah said it was important to communicate with his Australian counterpart at a time when Nepal is going through a difficult situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prime Minister Shah expressed gratitude to the Australian Government and its people for their solidarity following the massive Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa on August 26, which caused significant loss of life, property and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also appreciated Australia\u2019s assistance in Nepal\u2019s rescue and relief efforts following the disaster.
