{"id":435364,"date":"2026-09-04T09:39:06","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T03:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=435364"},"modified":"2026-09-04T09:43:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T03:58:15","slug":"bhotekoshi-flood-one-rescued-alive-from-trishuli-3-a-hydropower-project-tunnel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/09\/04\/435364.html","title":{"rendered":"Bhotekoshi Flood: One Rescued Alive from Trishuli-3 \u2018A\u2019 Hydropower Project Tunnel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Kathmandu: A person trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli-3 \u2018A\u2019 Hydropower Project has been rescued alive, ten days after the devastating flood that struck the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on August 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an engineer involved in the search and rescue operation, one person was rescued alive from inside the tunnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sanjay Shah, a mechanical foreman at the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), was successfully rescued after being trapped inside the tunnel for ten days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the search and rescue operation this morning, signs were detected indicating that the sound of a person had been heard from inside the tunnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nepal Army and Armed Police Force teams have been mobilized to search for and rescue other people who may still be trapped inside the tunnel.
