The security agencies have intensified the search and rescue efforts post-disaster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the details released today by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), 45 members of the Nepali Army, 25 of the Nepal Police, and 13 of the Armed Police Force Nepal are missing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, 14 people from the customs office, three from the immigration office, and around 865 from Rasuwa are also unaccounted for. NDRRMA stated that 1,558 people from Nuwakot, 583 foreign nationals, and 164 Nepalis who went with tourists are also out of contact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, around 900 people working in the hydropower projects, three from Langtang National Park, three from the quarantine office, seven public representatives, 32 local government and subordinate staff, and one private school teacher are currently unreachable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the NDRRMA spokesperson Shanti Mahat, 21,402 security personnel from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force Nepal have been deployed in the flood-affected areas for search, rescue and relief efforts. In search and rescue operations, 7,912 personnel from Nepal Police, 9,287 personnel from the Nepali Army, and 4,203 from the Armed Police Force Nepal have been involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The authority has said that out of more than 5,000 people affected by the flood, so far 5,135 have received treatment.
