Kathmandu:<\/strong> Nepal has secured its second consecutive victory in the ACC Men\u2019s Premier Cup, defeating Malaysia by six wickets in today\u2019s match in Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nepal, which had defeated Bahrain in its opening match, successfully chased down Malaysia\u2019s 104-run target in 21.4 overs, losing four wickets in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arjun Kumal top-scored for Nepal with an unbeaten 45 off 68 balls. Ishan Pandey contributed 20 runs, while Dipendra Singh Airee and Rohit Kumar Paudel scored 12 and 10 runs, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Malaysia, Sayed Aziz, Virandeep Singh, Prashant Madhukar and Arif Ullah took one wicket each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Malaysia, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, was bowled out for 103 runs in 32.3 overs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malaysian captain Sayed Aziz was the team’s top scorer with 30 runs off 49 balls. Akil Wahid, Virandeep Singh and Syahadat Ramli scored 24, 14 and 13 runs, respectively. The remaining Malaysian batters failed to reach double figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karan KC was Nepal’s standout bowler, claiming four wickets. Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi took two wickets, while Hemant Dhami, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Lamichhane claimed one wicket each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
