{"id":434922,"date":"2026-08-28T12:29:57","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T06:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/?p=434922"},"modified":"2026-08-28T12:29:59","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T06:44:59","slug":"water-starts-flowing-out-of-barrier-lake-in-tibet-bhotekoshi-water-level-rises-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radionepalonline.com\/en\/2026\/08\/28\/434922.html","title":{"rendered":"Water starts flowing out of barrier lake in Tibet, Bhotekoshi water level rises again"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kathmandu:<\/strong> Water has started flowing out of a barrier lake formed near the confluence of the Chochen River and Purepu Tsangpo River in Tibet, China, with a rise in the water level of the Bhotekoshi River reported in Rasuwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority spokesperson Shanti Mahat has also confirmed the rise in the Bhotekoshi River\u2019s water level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, she said there has been no significant increase in water flow towards Nepal so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahat said the current water flow is about one-sixth the intensity of the recent flash flood.
