Fifteen emergency tents, each measuring 24 square metres, will also be sent to the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry said 100 emergency beds have been reserved at Bir Hospital and the Trauma Centre in Kathmandu for flood victims. So far, three injured people have been rescued and brought to Kathmandu for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry is coordinating with federal hospitals, the blood transfusion centre, the Bagmati and Gandaki provincial health ministries, the Nepal Red Cross, Lions Club and Nepal Scouts for emergency health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three doctors and two nurses from the Trauma Centre have already been deployed to the affected areas, while an ambulance equipped with essential medical supplies has also been sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry said arrangements are also being made to deploy additional doctors and health workers to the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For emergency health-related assistance, information and co-ordination, the public can contact 1115.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu: The World Health Organisation is preparing to send essential medicines and medical equipment for people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa.
